Getting to Artfest
Parking at Artfest
Free parking is available in City Park at Artfest Kingston. Parking at Artfest in City Park in set up as ONE WAY ONLY for the weekend. Enter the park from the Barrie Street entrance and exit at West St. You will be greeted and directed by our Parking attendants. 12 Designated Accessible parking spaces are available in the park and 6 on on Bagot St.
There is additional street parking available around the park as well. There are parking lots close by. Here is a handy tool to determine walking distances from nearby parking lots.
Please note that the Court House Parking lot is closed to the public from June 29-July 1st. It is designated parking for the Artfest Kingston exhibitors only.
Take the Trolley
The Kingston Trolley stops and picks up at Artfest Kingston for the weekend. PLUS if you book a ride you get $5 Artfest Dollars to spend at the show.
Kingston Trolley Tours takes you on an in-depth tour of Kingston's historic downtown and waterfront, stopping at all of the city's most well-known visitor destinations including Fort Henry, the Penitentiary Museum, and Queen’s University. You can hop off at any stop, stay for as long as you like, then hop back on and continue your tour. Trolleys follow a figure-8 route that divides the route into two halves: you can begin with the east half of the tour, then continue West to visit Artfest Kingston. Ride Your Bike
It is easy and smart to ride your bike to Artfest and avoid parking stress. Cycle Kingston and Artfest are hosting a Bicycle Valet Service Area at the show. We keep your bike safe while you enjoy the day at the show. Learn about bike safety too from their knowledgeable volunteers.
Cycle Kingston is a grassroots, registered Canadian charity whose mandate is to promote and encourage cycling in Kingston through education and public outreach.
Bike Valet Location: Drop your bikes off at 55 Bagot St. Our Valet area is located beside the small building in City Park, Kingston.
Take the bus to Artfest from just about anywhere in the city. Use the Park & Ride service if you want to avoid downtown traffic on Canada Day weekend.
