Kim Land has a passion for handcrafting and a love for the natural world. She has brought these together in Aurora Light Sculptures. Created from found driftwood, reeds or woven cane, then covered with layers of paper, Kim crafts wall sconces, table top lamps and chandeliers in a distinctly Canadian style.
Aurora Light Sculptures is named after the aurora borealis that she often sees from her home in Témiscaming, Quebec. Her sculptures flow organically in shapes reminiscent of the way the northern lights play across our night skies.
