The Grand Finale July 4th at Artfest Kingston!

What a great week preparing costumes, giant puppets, and all kinds of artsy musical instruments for the final parade at Artfest Kingston that took place on July 4th.

This year's theme at Artfest Kingston "Friends Across the Water" drew in thousands of visitors from Quebec, Maine (US), and Nova Scotia - to name a few.  During the festival, beginning on Canada Day, (July 1st), Artfest goers participated in FREE arts programming for kids and adults!  There was live music daily, mouth watering food at the Artfest Food area, theatre performances, music participation for kids, and a lovely bunch of Artfest Team members working hard to ensure your time at Artfest Kingston was the best!  And that it was!

The grand finale parade took place at 3pm on Saturday and ended with a Salon Theatre performance in the Artfest Sculpture Forest.  Certainly a memorable experience unlike any other!!

Artfest has grown into a four-day festival that celebrates all things art, including music, dance, artwork, theatre and more and can be found in City Park. The four pathways through the park are full of people looking, tasting, hearing and sharing the love of art.
