Argent Whimsy - showcasing at Artfest Port Credit!

How it all began......

Argent Whimsy started in the spring of 2013 after the founder and creative spirit graduated from Haliburton School of The Arts at the top of her class. All of Angela Morgan's jewellery is designed and handmade in her studio nestled in the city of Toronto.

Angela creates new pieces of her wearable art on a regular basis.  Each piece of jewellery is hand crafted from precious metals and precious or semi-precious gemstones, and formed using traditional metal smith techniques. She focuses on jewellery that is unique, and embodies the whimsy and creativity that is abundant in her studio.

About the Artist:

Angela graduated at the top of her class from the Jewellery Essentials Program at Haliburton School of The Arts in 2013, and has been designing and creating fine sterling silver jewellery ever since.

After graduation she founded her business - Argent Whimsy, and has been able to support herself through the creation and sale of her beautiful art. She has beenshowcasing her work at various art shows including the Made By Hand Show, the Made In Canada Show, the London Arts & Craft Show, and the Goderich Celtic Roots Festival, among many others.

In the summer of 2014, Angela went back to Haliburton School of The Arts to take a course in Silver Art Clay in order to expand her knowledge of jewellery making techniques. She has since incorporated some of what she learned during her program with the traditional silversmithing techniques she already uses to make some truly unique pieces of wearable jewellery art.

Angela finds joy in experimenting with the textures, shapes and sculptural abilities of the materials that she works with, and hopes that the pieces she creates bring as much joy to the wearer as they do to her while she is making them.
