Studio Vine Glass exhibiting at Artfest!

Blown glass functional kitchen-wares & labour-intensive conceptual sculptures.

About the Artisan: Claire Anderson is a graduate of the Sheridan College Crafts and Design Glass Program where she discovered her passion for sculpture and design. While maintaining an interest in, and continuing to conceptually draw upon, as wide a range of media as possible, focusing on working with glass has offered her the versatility to create both sculptural and functional works while allowing for the goal of developing the utmost quality and integrity within each piece created. She is a member of the Glass Art Association of Canada (GAAC), the Ontario Crafts Council (OCC)and the Glass Art Society (GAS)H er work has been exhibited in a number of juried shows and represented for sale through private galleries. Claire is currently based in Merrickville, Ontario, as an integral member of the 'Gray Art Glass' team. She works in the gallery as a production manager and on the floor as a glass artist, aiding with the existing product line as well as contributing her own, original ideas and designs.
