Tanya McCormick is a mixed media artist who has been working with copper and patina for over 6 years. She is primarily a jewellery designer from the Pontiac region of Quebec and branched out into mixed media and abstract art 2 years ago. Her current works of copper art are created using a multi step process and can take up to several weeks to complete.

Practical Art was established over 20 years ago by manufacturing unique modern furniture and a few smaller pieces to help accent the furniture. It was quickly realized that these smaller accent pieces were more widely appreciated by customers.

After this revelation, Mike McNeil switched his focus to creating and enhancing these smaller pieces for both interior and exterior applications, and always with some form of practicality as
well.

Judi Miller creates pictures using thread: a textile base and a sewing machine. In free motion, (machine embroidery) the sewing machine needle is used as a pencil or paint brush. Photographs are most often a starting point that provide composition, colour and detail reference in Judi's work.

Harper Pottery crafts wheel-made stoneware, decorated with slips and carvings. Handmade whistles, salt and pepper shakers, and perfume bottles. Collection also includes: vases, plates, cups, bowls, jars, and teapots. 

Jonathan Harper has been making functional stoneware pots as his career for 32 years. He began his business in Burlington and is presently in Waterdown, Ontario.  This work takes him to art and craft shows all over Ontario, Quebec, New York, Michigan, and Vermont. His stunning stoneware is collected throughout North America.

La Glasserie ~ Distillery District, May 20 - 22, 2017

"I started learning glass blowing at the age of 13 under my grandfather's guidance. I kept improving basic techniques using the torch technique and improved them while in Italy where I was introduced on how to make animal figurines. In Canada I decided to make this my full time occupation, which gave me the chance to experiment more with glass,colors and the kiln. My work, particularly my ornaments, have become collectors items worldwide.
